For once, there’s no snow in the forecast! The weather is looking up and we have some great opportunities approaching—so rid yourself of that cabin fever and come join us for these exciting upcoming events! Featured events include:
On Wednesday, February 16th, the church will host the Food Pantry. This is a wonderful way to volunteer our time and represent our congregation with a great zest and eagerness for helping others. Those who plan to lend their time should arrive at 9:00am. If interested, please contact: Lisa Porter, 666-5128, or Myrene Connor, 923-2950.
The 2011 Youth Group is starting up with a bang! The first “official” monthly Youth Group meeting will take place on Saturday, February 19th and you won’t want to miss it! With games, food & fellowship, this evening is sure to be a fun one! Contact Todd Rendle at email@example.com or (917) 232-8660 if you plan to attend.
Our first Men’s Breakfast was such a success that we decided to plan another one right away! On February 20th at 9:00am, join us for spiritual renewal, networking, fellowship and fun. This event is free, so be sure to bring a friend.
Along with these dates we, as always, continue our active weekly schedule:
Sunday mornings revitalize our spiritual mission and send us into the week with a renewed connection with the Lord and our church family.
- Pastor’s Forum takes place at 9:15am for study and discussion.
- Worship service follows at 10:15am.
Let’s try this again: The past two Wednesday Night Suppers may have been postponed due to snow, but that won’t stop us. Join us this Wednesday and every week at 6:15pm for dinner, followed by activities at 7:00pm.
We are always in need of volunteers for the Sunday morning roles of: Lay Liturgist, Flowers and Coffee Hour Hosts. To lend a hand, please see the sign-up sheets at weekly church services or call the church office (666-5014).
