WE ARE committed to CREATIVE worship that combines a relevant message of hope and encouragement for today with music that spans many styles and ages—from favorite old hymns to choruses from around the world; from the classical composers on organ to modern songs led by young musicians.
WE ARE ENGAGED in the community and the world through activities such as the winter shelter for the homeless, Mount Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry, Youth Group missions trips to Appalachia, support of international missions, and much more.
WE ARE WELCOMING come and join us each Sunday for Worship and Sunday School at 10:15am. Wednesday Evening Suppers and activities take place at 6:15. Adult education and Youth Group activities take place throughout the year.
Working with Sexton, Art Covey, on yard work, cleaning, setup, building maintenance. Includes work on snow and leaf removal ideally. 10 Hours per week. Early morning availability preferred. Proof of citizenship required.
Soul Search Group
A new group is forming under the leadership of the Pastor. Want to start the new year with some new resolutions? Can you use the support of a group for spiritual direction and life coaching? Join us! The group is free. Call for information. First meeting will be January 14th at 7:00 p.m. Future schedule to be determined.
Pet Angels Circle
This group is a group for pet guardians who have a pet who is ill or has recently passed. We will offer one another unconditional love and support. Bring a photo of your pet or pets to share with the group. There is no fee. Group will meet monthly, beginning Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. Call for more information.
Friends of Noah
This group for adults, youth and chidren will focus on learning about endangered species and helping to save them through advocacy. We will put our creativity to work to make a difference! For more information, call Pastor Burger at (914) 666-5014. There is no fee to take part. First meeting: Sunday, February 1, 2015 at 12 noon in Halstead Hall, UMC of Mt. Kisco.
